End of March 2010 the technical book „Hermetically Sealed Displacement Pumps – The Evolution of Pump Technology from Piston and Diaphragm Pumps to the MULTISAFE Double Hose-Diaphragm Process Pump“ has been released in German and English. The author of the book, Heinz M. Nägel, is managing partner of FELUWA Pumpen GmbH and Technical Director of the ARCA Flow Group.  His knowledge in the area of the development and production of hermetically sealed displacement pumps is based on decades of experience in this field. Numerous national and international patents bear testimony of this extraordinary innovative expertise. 

This book is intended as an aid to engineers and technicians responsible for the planning, construction and installation of pumps and pumping stations designed for the pumping of demanding media, enabling them to select the best pump for each application while taking different influencing variables and parameters into consideration.

The book focuses on a leakproof pump system which should be taken into account when pumping a medium with abrasive, aggressive and toxic properties. Numerous examples and considerations are drawn upon to illustrate the fact that the majority of requirements can be met without the need to consider any limitations.
